About Chris Wehan

Founder of CoCreate SC | Next Level Athlete Coaching (Online) | Striker Training (In Person) | Former Professional Soccer Player

From Pro Player to Athlete Mentor

I had an incredible soccer career from youth soccer in Orange County to college soccer at the University of New Mexico and then onto seven years of professional soccer across the USL & MLS. I wont go into entire career but below are some of the accomplishments I have accumulated during my time playing soccer.

It is my passion to take those experiences and help the next generation speed up their own learning curve in order to reach their highest potential as athletes and human beings.

There were often times in my career where I struggled with being the best version of myself and how I can stay focused on the process of being the best version of myself day in and day out. This is why I am coaching and mentoring the next generation of athletes and their families so that you can stay grounded in your process towards reaching your highest potential as an athlete and as a person.

Why I Started CoCreate SC

I founded CoCreate SC to be that missing piece for athletes. My mission is simple: to help players train their minds the same way they train their bodies — with discipline, clarity, and support.

Through Next Level Athlete Coaching (online mentorship) and in-person striker training in Oceanside, CA, I help athletes:

  • Build confidence that lasts beyond their last performance

  • Develop mental tools to handle pressure, setbacks, and uncertainty

  • Strengthen off-field habits that fuel success on the field

  • Navigate the college recruitment process with clarity and confidence

  • Stay connected to the love of the game while pursuing their biggest goals

My Coaching Focus

  • Confidence: Build lasting belief in yourself and your game

  • Resilience: Learn to bounce back from injuries, setbacks, and tough performances

  • Clarity: Get guidance through recruiting, training habits, and long-term development

  • Support: A safe space to talk honestly and grow as both an athlete and a person

The Invitation

I’ve been where you are — chasing the dream, feeling the pressure, and fighting the battles no one sees. Now, I’m here to help you align your talent, mindset, and habits so you can thrive not just in sport, but in life.
